Every family has a story it tells around the table. Ours is about a land of poets and kings, of tilework the color of the sky and mountains that hold the snow until summer. It is the story of Iran — and for many of us, it is a story we carry far from home.
Where it began
Arya Roots was started by a small group of young Iranians who kept noticing the same thing: we were proud of where we came from, but we had very few ways to show it. The things we wore said nothing about who we were. So we decided to make something that did.
We began with sketches — the Lion and Sun, the patterns of old carpets, the geometry of Persian domes. Slowly those sketches became designs, and the designs became the first Arya Roots pieces.
Why it matters to us
A nation that remembers its roots cannot be erased. Thousands of years of art, poetry and history live inside every Iranian, wherever we were born and wherever we live now. Wearing those symbols is a quiet way of saying: we remember.
For us, this is more than clothing. It is a reminder of who we are, and an expression of hope — that the people of Iran will be free, and that our nation will one day return to the greatness and dignity of its past.
How we make it
Each design is drawn by our own team. Every piece is printed to order, just for you, on garments we chose carefully for how they feel and how long they last. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting; when you order, your piece is made.
We care about the details because the history behind them deserves it. If something ever arrives less than perfect, we will make it right.
