The Design

Back: a sweeping landscape that travels from the snowy cone of Mount Damavand through desert canyons and green hills down to the Persian Gulf, where a traditional wooden boat sails.

The Iranian Cheetah

The Asiatic cheetah once roamed from the Arabian Peninsula to India. Today it survives in the wild only in Iran, mostly in the deserts and mountains of the central plateau, and only a few dozen are believed to remain. That is why Iranians call it simply the Iranian cheetah, and why protecting it has become a national cause.

In 2014, the Iranian cheetah appeared on the shirts of Iran’s national football team at the World Cup, bringing its story to millions of people around the world.

From Damavand to the Sea

Iran is one of the most varied countries on Earth. In a single journey you can go from the snows of Mount Damavand, at about 5,610 meters the highest peak in Iran, through deserts and canyons, to the warm shores of the Persian Gulf, where wooden lenj boats have sailed for centuries.

The Pomegranate

Pomegranates frame every design in this collection. In Persian culture, the pomegranate (anar) is a symbol of life, abundance and love, and it is the star of Yalda Night, when families gather on the longest night of the year to celebrate the return of light.
